97.5% of the media employees had sub-health

Xinhua reported that on November 24, the Beijing Health Security Association released the health data of media employees in the past five years. According to the data, the Central Asian health detection rate of media employees was 97.5%.

The physical examination investigation and research for this special population began in 2004. Han Xiaohong, President of the Beijing Health Security Association, pointed out that media employees will enter the sub-health state 10 years earlier than the general population, which is related to their working too long, serious lack of sleep, too little physical exercise, unreasonable dietary structure, and excessive physical and mental pressure. The fierce competition in the media industry has gradually made media employees accustomed to sitting in front of computers all the time, relying on lunch boxes and snacks to solve their eating problems. The almost self abusive work style has led to prominent sub-health problems

The survey found that dyslipidemia, vision decline and pharyngitis were the common diseases of media employees. Medical experts remind that media practitioners must not ignore their own health and should pay attention to regular whole-body health monitoring.
