At the same time, it was also found that Chinese traditional sports can generally reduce the levels of harmful cholesterol, low-density lipoprotein and triglyceride in the body of practitioners.

In addition, the report points out that among Chinese patients with cardiovascular diseases, practicing traditional sports can improve their quality of life and reduce psychological stress the study leader also said that these exercise methods have not been proven in this study to improve the heart rate or increase the level of aerobic exercise.
