Scraping is a traditional natural therapy in China and one of the necessary means of health preservation in traditional Chinese medicine. In many parts of China, there are medical habits and means of scraping. However, when we talk about scraping today, what we want to say is that scraping can not only help you treat physical diseases, but also find out your sub-health by scraping when the disease has not yet broken out.
Understand scraping and positive reaction
Sha and positive reaction and their significance
When scraping, there is a difference between scraping and not scraping. There will be different feelings under the scraping plate, such as smoothness, irregularity, gravel, nodules, muscle tension, stiffness or relaxation. These feelings are collectively referred to as “positive reactions”. These different reactions during scraping suggest different health conditions of scraping sites.
1. No scraping
When scraping, there is no scraping spot, pain or uneven feeling under the scraping plate, which indicates that the blood in the meridians is unblocked and the body is healthy.
2. Scraping spots
When scraping stops, scraping stops immediately. It suggests that the local blood flow is slow and there is Qi stagnation and blood stasis in the meridians. The color, shape and range of Sha Xiang are related to the duration, severity and range of local blood stasis. The longer the blood stasis time, the more metabolites in the blood, the darker the color of Sha, the denser the Sha image, and the larger the range.
3. Positive reaction
The positive reaction is that when scraping, you feel that the scraping plate is not smooth, and there are obstacles and resistance such as gravel and nodules. The same is that the blood and blood of the meridians are not smooth, and the cells of tissues and organs are lack of oxygen. Why do some parts have Sha, but some parts have irregularities, gravel, nodules and other positive reactions?
This is mainly determined by the state of local blood circulation. Due to cell hypoxia caused by blocked blood flow, empty blood vessels and insufficient Qi and blood, proliferation or adhesion reactions will occur in local tissues, scraping will not occur, but there will be uneven positive reactants. Because of the different reasons, nature and degree of the obstruction, the state and nature of the positive reaction are different in the places where the Qi and blood flow in the meridians is obstructed. The longer the time of meridian hypoxia, the more obvious the positive reaction.
The skin astringency, slight pain, bubbles and gravel like feeling found under the scraping plate are the manifestations of mild blood stasis in the meridians and collaterals. The appearance of nodules indicates that the blood stasis of meridians is long. The larger and stiffer the nodule, the higher the degree of tissue adhesion, fibrosis and calcification, and the longer the lesion lasts.
4. Pain
Pain is also a manifestation of positive reaction. When Qi and blood are stagnant, or blood vessels are empty and Qi and blood are insufficient, and cell hypoxia affects nerve dysregulation, scraping will also cause pain, that is, as traditional Chinese medicine says, “if there is no connection, it will hurt”. More pain suggests that it is time for sub-health symptoms.
Microcirculation and microcirculation disorders
The microvascular network forms the microcirculation of the human body. Microcirculation refers to the body fluid circulation of blood and lymph in human capillaries and microlymphatic vessels, which directly participate in the exchange of material and energy of tissues and cells and the transmission of information. It covers the basic functions of life activities.
Both scraping and positive reaction are microcirculation disorders. The same is microcirculation disorder, but there is a difference between blood stasis disorder and ischemic disorder. Blood stasis, slow flow, blood stasis microcirculation disorder. Blood stasis microcirculation disorder, scraping and scraping can quickly improve microcirculation. If the arterial blood flow is reduced, the tissue perfusion is insufficient, or the nutritional components in the blood are insufficient due to the change of the number and nature of blood cells, resulting in cell ischemia and hypoxia, it is an ischemic microcirculation disorder.
Why is there a positive reaction
If the blood flow at the ischemic microcirculation obstacle is insufficient, scraping will not occur after scraping. When tissue cells are ischemic and hypoxic for a long time, these soft tissues will have pathological changes such as proliferation, adhesion, fibrosis, calcification or inflammation. When scraping, you will feel that the scraping plate is not smooth. There are nodules like soft tissues similar to gravel, rice grains, peanuts, broad beans, or even larger, or strip like obstacles between the subcutaneous or muscle tissues, which are collectively called positive reactions.
These positive reactions are not tumors, but pathological reactions after cell ischemia, hypoxia or tissue damage and inflammation. Their size and shape are closely related to the degree, time and scope of the lesion.
How to determine the sub-health part
Scraping spots and positive reactions are both manifestations of microcirculation disorders, and they are located in the places where the blood and Qi of the meridians are not smooth and sub-health or disease occurs. When scraping, carefully understand whether there is a positive reaction under the scraping plate, observe the parts where scraping spots appear, and master the laws of the circulation and distribution of meridians on the surface of the skin and the holographic distribution of viscera and organs on the body surface according to the meridian theory of traditional Chinese medicine and the bioholography theory, so as to judge the meridians or viscera and organs with blood and Qi out of tune, and determine the parts of sub-health or disease.
If there is scraping or positive reaction in a certain meridian, it indicates that the viscera and organs connected to that meridian have sub-health or disease changes. This method can accurately judge the sub-health or disease parts even when there are no symptoms in the body.
For example, the scrapping or positive reaction of the back bladder meridian Xinshu and the upper limb heart meridian suggests that the heart or heart meridian qi and blood are not running smoothly; The scraping or positive reaction of the stomach meridians of the back bladder meridians and lower limbs suggests that the stomach meridians or stomach qi and blood are not smooth; The scraping image or positive reaction in the corresponding area of the spine and the projection area of the body surface of a certain visceral organ indicates that the Qi and blood of the visceral organ are not smooth, and sub-health or disease changes occur; Massaging the point on the radial side of the second metacarpal bone of the hand can identify and distinguish the viscera and organs that cause pain; The pain at the heart point is sensitive, suggesting that the disease is in the heart; The pain at the stomach points is sensitive, suggesting that the disease is in the stomach.
Sometimes, the shape of the scraping image can also reflect the location and shape of the lesion. For example, the shape of the scraping image in the corresponding area of the breast on the back of the breast hyperplasia patient suggests the location and shape of the breast hyperplasia in the corresponding part of the chest. The uniform scraping image suggests diffuse hyperplasia of the breast, and the striped or round scraping spots suggest that the growth is striped or nodular.
For bone and joint diseases, scraping occurs rapidly when scraping, and the large area of scraping spots suggests that the lesion is mostly muscle damage; Bone and joint diseases have pain or positive reactants, but rarely have scraping, which indicates that the lesion is deep, in tendons, ligaments or bones.
