Excessive exercise is not beneficial or harmful to the heart

If you are a heart attack patient, you should remember to take a brisk walk or jog when exercising, and do not overdo it by taking strenuous projects.

A study showed with clear data that excessive exercise would increase the probability of death from cardiovascular disease in patients with heart disease. Through the follow-up investigation of 2400 heart disease patients and the study of the relationship between exercise volume and cardiovascular mortality, this experiment came to the conclusion that people’s cardiovascular health promotion effect is the same whether walking or running under the same physical expenditure. “However, this study found that the death rate of heart disease patients who run about 48 kilometers and walk about 73 kilometers every week reached 65%.” So said Paul T. Williams of the Life Sciences Department of Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory.
