The following set of cold prevention exercises is created based on the meridian theory of traditional Chinese medicine, with reference to ancient health preservation techniques, and in combination with the relevant experience of our department in massage treatment of colds. In the season of frequent colds, we insist on doing exercises every day to help prevent colds.

Rub Yingxiang: place the pulp of the index finger of both hands on the Yingxiang point on the nasal wing and rub it along the lip groove for 30 times, 1-2 times a day. Kneading the bridge of the nose: knead the bridge of the nose from top to bottom with the pulp of the thumb and index finger of one hand, kneading while kneading, and kneading with a pinch band. Massage 30 times a time, 1-2 times a day.

Pinch the throat: gently pinch the abdomen of the thumb and index finger of one hand from the Adam’s apple to the Tiantu acupoint. Pinch it 5 times a time, 1-2 times a day.

Kneading the wind pool: press the belly of the thumb of both hands on the wind pool acupoints on both sides, and knead inward and upward. Massage 30 times a time, 1-2 times a day. Hold the shoulder well: use your thumb and the abdomen of the other four fingers to hold and rub the shoulder well with relative strength. Rub it 10 times a time, 1-2 times a day.

Wipe Dazhui: use the pulp of the index, middle and ring fingers of one hand to do lateral rubbing at Dazhui point. Take local diathermy as degree, 1-2 times a day.

Push lung Meridian: use both hands to push from Zhongfu and Yunmen points to Shaoshang point on the thumb through the inner side of the upper limb along the front of the armpit. Feel the heat in your chest.

Slap the upper back: slap the left upper back with the empty palm of your right hand and the right upper back with the empty palm of your left hand; 10 times each. This method has the effect of dispersing wind, dispersing cold, and promoting qi and blood circulation.
